Move over, “American Idol,” “Q’Viva” and “The Voice”: ABC has just picked up “Duets,” a music-competition series that will feature Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, Jennifer Nettles and Lionel Richie as celebrity mentors and duet partners.
“Duets” will begin airing this summer. Its concept is relatively simple: the celebrity mentors will each select two undiscovered vocalists to take under their wing and perform with every week. The winner of the show will sign with Hollywood Records.

Season 2 of “The Voice” will have a ton of star power when it debuts on Feb. 5, as a bevy of big-name artists — Kelly Clarkson, Ne-Yo, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Robin Thicke, Miranda Lambert and Lionel Richie — have signed on as guest mentors.
