Sci-fi legend Ridley Scott (“Aliens,” “Blade Runner”) has released his trailer for “Prometheus,” a film in which a team of explorers fight for a future for mankind. Starring Charlize Theron (“Monster,” “Young Adult”), Noomi Rapace (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”), Michael Fassbender (“X-Men: First Class,” “A Dangerous Method”), Patrick Wilson (“Little Children,” “Hard Candy”), “The Wire’s” Idris Elba and “Memento’s” Guy Pearce, the early attention for the film must be maintained until its release in June 2012.

Slated for release on December 16, 2011, “Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows” follows the Christmas 2009 release of Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” with Robert Downey Jr. in the title role and Jude Law as Dr. Watson. Rachel McAdams returns as Irene Adler as the famous detective and his sidekick try to bring down their arch enemy Professor Moriarty (played by “Mad Men’s” Jared Harris)!
The 2009 release grossed more than a half-billion dollars in box-office globally and, this time with international star Noomi Rapace in the project (from the Swedish-language “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo's Noomi Rapace, indie film star Maggie Gyllenhaal (accompanied by her husband Peter Sarsgaard), "Twilight's" Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone, Olivia Newton-John, Ethan Hawke and Kristin Scott Thomas were among the first international visitors on the red carpet at the 2011 Rome Film Festival currently taking place in the famed city.
