Mark Wahlberg is getting some of his tattoos removed, and he’s used the occasion as a learning experience for his two oldest children Ella and Michael. “I’ve taken my two older kids to the procedure so they see how painful it is and what I have to go through,” he told People.

Mark Wahlberg has had some ‘splaining to do after making bold statements about 9/11 in the February 2012 issue of Men’s Journal. The actor was scheduled to be on one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center, but didn’t make the flight.
“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did,” he said. “There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.’”
