Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson are two celebrities you might not immediately think of as natural creative partners, but they’re teaming up for an upcoming track on Manson’s next album. The song? “You’re So Vain,” originally by Carly Simon.
This won’t be the first time the eccentric entertainers have joined forces. E! Online notes that the soundtrack of 2001′s “From Hell” featured Manson’s song “The Nobodies,” and Depp brought Manson to the “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” premiere back in 2006.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America has announced that it will recognize Johnny Depp at its annual gala with the fashion icon award. Tommy Hilfiger will receive the lifetime achievement award, while Rei Kawakubo will accept the international award for Comme des Garcons.
Two other famous faces are vying for the title of womenswear designer of the year: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for their work on The Row. They’ll face off against Marc Jacobs and Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler for the accolade.
