Tom Hardy and Shia Labeouf went bristle for bristle alongside everywhere newcomer Jessica Chastain at the premiere of the new film by director John Hillcoat (The Proposition, The Road). Adapted for the big screen by music sensation Nick Cave, P. Diddy turned up to support the film's moment on the Cannes red carpet, as did "The Artist's" Berenice Bejo and many other talented thesps.

In promoting John Hillcoat's new experiment with poetic violence at the Cannes Film Festival, big guns Shia Labeouf, Jessica Chastain, Guy Pearce and Tom Hardy kept the "Lawless" press conference on track with young stars Dane De Haan and Mia Wasikowska.

Hosted by Giorgio Armani for Sean Penn, Petra Nemcova, filmmaker Paul Haggis, and even singer Lyle Lovett mixed it up with Jessica Chastain, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Ben Stiller and dozens of other celebrities in an outpouring of support for the still suffering nation of Haiti. 
Before partying the night away at a private Calvin Klein event, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jessica Chastain, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith took to the Cannes press corps to promote "Madagascar 3," which is showing as part of the Cannes Film Festival program.
While "Madagascar 3" obviously isn't in competition against the (much more) gritty festival films, the crowd lapped up the all-star power of the voice talent team. Ironically, in most theaters in France, the voices heard behind the penguins and lions will be these Hollywood heavyweights' French voice dubbers.
