Cinema for Peace raises awareness for movies and documentaries that tackle humanitarian, environmental and political issues. Inviting key figures around the world to its annual awards ceremony and gala in Berlin, this year’s attendees included Angelina Jolie – who was honored for her directorial debut “In the Land of Blood of Honey,” Luc Besson and Michelle Yeoh (who were treated to a video cross to the Nobel prizewinner portrayed by Yeoh in Besson’s latest film, Aung San Suu Kyi).
