At Paris Fashion Week, Jean Paul Gaultier presented a couture collection inspired by the late Amy Winehouse, and her father Mitch recently spoke out against the tribute, calling it in “bad taste.”

If you’ve ever had an urge to own the Indiana Jones whip used by Harrison Ford in “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” you’ll want to be in London on December 15, when it goes on the auction block at Bonhams.
The original bullwhip from the 1981 movie is expected to go for between $48,000 and $56,000, and comes with a letter of authenticity from Kit West, who was in charge of the film’s special effects.

The chiffon dress Amy Winehouse wore on the cover of “Back to Black” has sold at auction for £43,200 (about $67,500). Chile’s Fundacion Museo de la Moda purchased the red-and-white Disaya frock for four times its asking price; Disaya donated all proceeds to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

U.K. coroners have revealed the official Amy Winehouse cause of death, ruling it “death by misadventure” due to alcohol poisoning. After remaining sober for three solid weeks, the troubled 27-year-old downed enough vodka to bring her blood alcohol content up to well over five times the legal limit, at 416 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood.
