After the much-lauded success of George Miller’s “Happy Feet,” which saw the film pick up the Oscar for Best Animated Feature as well as garner almost $400 million in worldwide box-office, “Happy Feet 2″ drew in a cast list that includes Elijah Wood, Alecia Moore (aka Pink), Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Hank Azaria, Common and Robin Williams to name a handful.

Lionsgate has just this morning debuted the first trailer for Hunger Games, noting that the clips show footage from only the first half of the first film of the franchise.

Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Alexander Ludwig, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth, to name just a few, it’s hoped the adaptations of Suzanne Collins’ novels follows swiftly into Twilight‘s financial footsteps.

Just in case you missed it, or just in case you were wondering, last night’s 45th Annual Country Music Awards won the night’s TV ratings.

Whether you think she’s pop or country, Taylor Swift emerged yet again as one of the nation’s favorite performers, taking top honors as the only female in the category, beating out Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.

Here’s the full list, with some links to the songs for which they received their acclaim:

Entertainer of the Year: Taylor Swift

Female Vocalist of the Year: Miranda Lambert

Male Vocalist of the Year: Blake Shelton

Vocal Group of the Year: Lady Antebellum

Celebs.com Hot Trailer: Spielberg’s ‘War Horse’ (HD)

Directed by Steven Spielberg, who’s enjoying something of a renaissance this year with directing credits on “War Horse” and “The Adventures of Tintin” and producing credits on a handful of other projects, “War Horse” tore up the stage wherever it played, and many are looking to the film for Oscar potential.

Here’s the breakdown, “Albert and his horse, Joey, and how their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One. Despite being too young to enlist, Albert heads to France to save his friend.” We’re getting misty-eyed already.

Of course, we could have told you it’s a horse movie, and that’s why the long face, but we didn’t.
