Kate Moss celebrates summertime on the June 2013 cover of Vogue UK. The model shows the world how to do summer vacation fashion right.
For the photo shoot, Moss took a trip to St. Barts to sport retro, chic and glamorous looks for the summer. And there’s no better summer setting then hopping aboard a luxurious boat owned by the editorial’s photographer, Patrick Demarchelier.
“It started with the idea of glamour and I think Kate Moss epitomizes that,” said Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers. ”Patrick suggested his boat and his boat is beautiful and so then it became about thinking what …Read more
Taken from Colin Clark’s diaries, there is no doubt that much of the world has at one time or another been obsessed with, or at least captivated by, the stories that surround the most explosive of blonde bombshells, Marilyn Monroe.
As the year winds down some of the most anticipated albums and singles are readying for release for the Christmas shopping season. And who couldn’t use some new music to get them through the treachery of standing in line next to drones of people all looking to get a deal. And between new released from the Black Keys, Drake & Duran Duran, Celebs.com’s Sabrina Cognata sounds off on 1 SINGLE, 1 ALBUM and 1 MUSIC VIDEO to help you find just what you’re looking for before you waste time going to the “store.”
Leave it to the rock ‘n roll darlings Black Keys to churn out another broken hearted themed song about a terrible ex. In fact, we’re getting to the point that the Patrick & Dan might have to get new women for each album just so they can have fresh material.
“Lonely Boy” will steadily rise in the charts, giving way to the release of their seventh studio album El Camino. While the lyrics are snarky and downright mean at times, “Well your mama kept you, but your daddy left you/And I should have done you just the same,” breakup songs are what the Black Keys churn out best.
Even if the lyrics turn you off, and let’s face it, everyone has an ex they cannot stand, so we’ve all been there, you can get down with the song’s punchy beat. So just shake whatcha mama gave you, unless it’s in the face of an ex, cause the Black Keys might look down on you for that.
Drake’s sophomore effort, Take Care has been getting a lot of mixed reviews but this mix tape is really about Drake flexing his hip hop muscle for his fans. There’s obviously a lot of time and effort put into this album, but I’m just not sure it’s everything Drake could offer and then some.
Clearly, this is a pet project, as Drake turns to the people closest to him to collaborate with and feature on Take Care, including Rihanna, The Weekend, Birdman & Nicki Minaj.
However, the lead single “Headlines” pretty much tells you everything you need to know about Take Care. Drake’s back, he’s got something to prove and none of it has to do with putting down other rappers. I guess we’ll see how his audience feels about that when album sales are released next week.
In what would otherwise be a fairly boring song and music video, Duran Duran goes back to their old tricks having ‘90s super models Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova and Helena Christensen portraying the perspective members of Duran Duran.
Although I am not a huge fan of the song, the video lends itself to needing to be watched from the first shot down the final scene. And, as we know, rock stars and super models go hand-in-hand, and in this case they are one and the same.
The video was shot and directed by Jonas Åkerlund who’s currently best known for directing Lady Gaga’s most well known music videos including “Telephone” & “Paparazzi.”
In Pedro Almodovar’s latest film (now playing in theaters), “The Skin I Live In,” a plastic surgeon (Antonio Banderas) tests the scientific aspects of playing God after creating a type of synthetic skin that will withstand damage.
It’s been more than twenty years since Banderas teamed with the director on “Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!” “The Skin I Live In” is the sixth film the two have worked on together.
Nominated for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival this year, it’s considered likely that the film will pick up a slew of nominations for best foreign or best foreign language film of the year.
Celebs.com’s own Angela Bakke sat down with the film’s co-stars. Check out the video! …Read More
This is the week. 11-18-11 will kick off what will be one of the biggest box-office days of 2011, and maybe even of all time.
For Twihards, Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 signifies many things – a wedding, a vampire baby – or the increasing hotness lens through which fans see Taylor Lautner’s Jacob.
We’ve collected the short interviews from the world premiere of Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 at the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles so that you needn’t look all over the place to see the actors behind all of your favorite Meyer creations.
After the much-lauded success of George Miller’s “Happy Feet,” which saw the film pick up the Oscar for Best Animated Feature as well as garner almost $400 million in worldwide box-office, “Happy Feet 2″ drew in a cast list that includes Elijah Wood, Alecia Moore (aka Pink), Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Hank Azaria, Common and Robin Williams to name a handful.
