Kate Bosworth, director and star Katie Aselton and co-star Lake Bell stopped by the Celebs.com studio at Sundance to talk about their thriller “Black Rock,” which screened as part of the midnight series at this year’s festival.
Filmed on location in Aselton’s hometown in Maine, Kate Bosworth may have picked up a nickname on the shoot – “LL Bean Bosworth” – we don’t think it will stick, but check out the interview with Celebs.com’s editor Elliot Kotek below.
Traci Lords came into the Celebs.com Studio at Sundance to chat about her career, her film “Excision” currently showing up in Park City, and her music. And yes, she’s pretty raunchy in person, so those of you sensitive to swear words should probably skip to our other interviews. Celebs.com’s Angela Bakke sat down with the career actor/artist for the interview below:

Sam Worthington (“Avatar,” “The Debt,” “Terminator: Salvation”), Elizabeth Banks (“W.” “30 Rock” “40-year-old Virgin”), Ed Burns (“The Brothers McMullen,” “Saving Private Ryan,” “She’s the One”), Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker,” “Real Steel,” “8 Mile”), Jamie Bell (“Billy Elliot” “King Kong” “Jumper”) and Genesis Rodriguez (“Casa de mi Padre”) all taped these interviews with Summit Entertainment for the upcoming thriller release Man on a Ledge (directed by Asger Leth).
Slated for release in the US on January 27, 2012, the film’s promotional materials give hope for an adrenalized adventure. People on ledges seem to do that to audiences. Go figure.
Lionsgate, Pantelion Films, Gary Sanchez and Nala Films are releasing the new Will Ferrell comedy “Casa de mi Padre” – a Spanish language film from the non-Spanish-speaking people behind “Anchorman,” written by Funny or Die creative head Andrew Steele and directed by long-time SNL writer Matt Piedmont.
Will Ferrell plays Armando Alvarez, his brother is portrayed by Diego Luna, and their nemesis, La Onza, by Gael Garcia Bernal. The film is a mosh-pit of hilarity stemming from the satirical manner in which the entire project was approached, part telenovela soap opera, part classic western (painted sets and all).
Coming out on March 16, 2012, here’s the first official full-length trailer.
MMA attraction (and now actress) Gina Carano stars alongside Channing Tatum(Dear John, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, Step Up), Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting, Young Adam, Star Wars), Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class, A Dangerous Method, Shame) and Antonio Banderas (Puss in Boots 3D, The Skin I Live In, Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico) in Steven Soderbergh’s new flick “HAYWIRE,” opening in theaters on Jan 20, 2012!
