Inspired by last month’s interview with children’s book author Maurice Sendak, Stephen Colbert is going to write his own tome targeted towards younger fans. “I am a Pole (And So Can You!)” will be released on May 8 by Grand Central Publishing; its title riffs on his best-selling first book, “I Am America (And So Can You!)”
When Colbert initially talked about writing a children’s book, it was in jest: he wanted to “cash in” on the ever-growing genre of celebrity children’s books. Grand Central said that after fans and viewers flooded Colbert with requests to
Vogue magazine profiled Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci for its March 2012 issue alongside five of his muses: Kanye West, Liv Tyler, Florence Welch, Liya Kebede and Karolina Kurkova. The editorial is titled “Tisci’s Time” and includes his memories of working with Jay-Z and West on their “Watch the Throne” album.
“I was a little bit scared,” said Tisci, “because I’m not an artist of graphic artist.” He described the creative process as “like a family giving opinions to each other, sharing — which is something that fashion is missing.”
Conan O’Brien fans have cause to celebrate today, as TBS announced that it’s extending “Conan” through April 2014.

Lauper and 15-year-old fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson model the bright spring separates Orla Kiely created with Uniqlo, perhaps embodying the brand’s diverse customer base.

HarperCollins is set to publish a second book from Justin Bieber called “Justin Bieber: Just Getting Started.” The photographic book follows Bieber’s first effort, “First Step 2 Forever: My Story,” which sold over a million copies when it was published in October 2010.
“Just Getting Started” will feature images from the preparation of his “Never Say Never” documentary and his upcoming album. It is set for a September 2012 release.
We’ll see plenty of Justin Bieber before then: he’s the new face of the relaunched “Punk’d” prank show, which airs on MTV starting next month.
