It was reported earlier this week that Zac Efron completed a stint in rehab five months ago for a cocaine addiction. New reports have surfaced today, saying the actor actually completed two stints in rehab.
Efron first entered a private facility in March to help him get rid of his addiction to cocaine, which he had been using for two years. He received outpatient care for several weeks. Then, in April Efron returned to LA where he was filming “Neighbors” with Seth Rogan. He relapsed and began using again, often not showing up for work. After shooting for the film wrapped, Efron went back to outpatient care.
According to sources cited on TMZ, Efron turned to drugs after continued struggles with his family, being unhappy with his career and hanging out with the wrong crowd.
Sources say Efron has gotten rid of any negative influences in his life and seems to be doing much better.
