Woody Harrelson Talks ‘Rampart’ Paranoia

Woody Harrelson

Woody Harrelson recently admitted that filming “Rampart” left him feeling paranoid and short-tempered. In a new interview with The Guardian Weekend, Harrelson admitted, “It was an intense time. The problem was being seeped in paranoia because that was so much the attitude of the character. That really affected me because I don’t normally do paranoia. Well, sometimes, of course. But it’s an emotion I try not to affect myself with.”

Harrelson said that he snapped aggressively at some of his buddies after even the slightest provocation. “A couple of friends said, ‘I can’t wait till you’re done with this role because I know this ain’t you doing it,’” he said.

This isn’t the first time that Woody Harrelson’s Method acting technique has gotten him into trouble with others. In 2009, Harrelson blamed his role in “Zombieland” for assaulting a TMZ photographer.

Yeah…this is possible. Think about all these actors. They have to become another person while acting in a movie…I think it is very hard for them to do this.

Well, this is something every actor should be aware of. It’s one of this job’s risks. Acting is not for everyone, clearly.

Woody is truly amazing in this movie, by the same director with whom Woody worked on “The Messenger.” Good stuff. Good, good stuff.
