“Wilfred” has been renewed for a fourth season on FXX. The fourth season will also be show’s last.
The series centers around a dog (Jason Gunn) who smokes pot and appears has a human dressed in a dog costume to his owner Ryan (Elijah Wood). After a low-rated third season, the series is being moved from FX to cable network for younger audiences, FXX.
The final season of “Wilfred” has only received 10 episodes, a downgrade from it’s usual 13 episodes. Season three ratings showed a significant decrease from season two. The second season of “Wilfred” received an average of 1.16 million viewers, while season three received an average of 580,000 viewers.
