Cory Monteith worked on two films before his tragic passing last month. In “McCanick,” Monteith plays a tormented drug dealer. In the second film, “All The Wrong Reasons,” he plays a department store manager who is struggling to find intimacy with his wife.
In a trailer for “All The Wrong Reasons,”Monteith is happy to be promoted to regional manager, while he maintains a good relationship with his wife. However, his wife, played by Karine Vanasse, works the surveillance at Monteith’s store and is struggling with the aftermath of her sister’s suicide, which has a rippling effect on their marriage.
Meanwhile, Monteith’s character becomes a bit too close with a single-mom who is a cashier at the store (Emily Hampshire). The two being having an affair that is eventually broadcast in the store’s television department. Meanwhile, Monteith’s wife engages in a relationship with another store employee, played by Kevin Zegers.
“All The Wrong Reasons” will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 8. Check out a trailer for the film below.
