Ashton Kutcher plays a young Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic about the late co-founder of Apple called “jOBS.” In a new clip from the upcoming movie, Jobs and Steve Wozniak, played by Josh Gad, have a heated discussion about a new computer operating system.
“This is freedom! This is freedom to create and to do and to build, as artists, as individuals,” Jobs, played by Kutcher, says in the clip.
Wozniak, played by Gad, retorts by telling Jobs he is over-reacting and tells him “nobody wants to buy a computer.” Kutcher then presents a line that is sure to become one of the movie’s most memorable quips, saying “How does somebody know what they want if they’ve never seen it?”
“jOBS” will not just chronicle the beginning of Apple computers. According to a statement, it will chronicle Steve Job’s life from 1971 to 2001.
“jOBS” premieres at Sundance on Friday and will hit theatres on April 19. Check out a clip from the upcoming movie below.
