The Weinstein Co’s “My Week with Marilyn” had its premiere at Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York the other night. Starring the superb (and likely Oscar-nomination-worthy) Michelle Williams as the icon of blonde, the film also features Kenneth Branagh as Sir Laurence Olivier, Dougray Scott as Arthur Miller, Judi Dench, Dominic Cooper, Julia Ormond, and actor and Burberry model Eddie Redmayne as Colin Clark.
The story (slated for release on November 4, 2011) has it that Colin Clark escorted Marilyn Monroe through the English countryside for a week, away from the prying eyes of the world’s media attention, and in the absence of her then husband, playwright Arthur Miller.
When Celebs.com’s Editor caught up with Michelle Williams back in April, she admitted to recent experience checking out “Twilight” with her friends. Check out the interview above, and the crazy flashbulbs below, I’ve kept the footage of the photographers to less than a minute, but Michelle probably stood there for more than 2 minutes – would you be able to handle it? To say that Michelle was being very accommodating seems an understatement, and we can’t wait to see the film.
