With “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2″ opening this weekend, there is no bigger pop culture topic than the boy wizard, busting onto 11,000 screens in North America in what is sure to be a record-breaking bonanza.
Perhaps the element of the franchise with the most box-office appeal, the Paris-born Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson has captured the zeitgeist as fashion pixie for Burberry and Lancôme.
While Radcliffe has chosen Broadway as his regular stomping ground, Watson will next be seen in “My Week with Marilyn” starring Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe and “Thor” director Kenneth Branagh as Sir Laurence Olivier.
Part 2 – Emma Watson talks about her new role in fashion, Ron & Hermione’s on-screen kiss and all the media attention it attracted on set, and “What’s next?”
Part 1 – With “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt.2″ coming out this week, and a blanket over her lap, Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) chats to Warner Bros about the franchise coming to an end, how her character has informed her, and this final film.
