At the CBS session of the Television Critics Association’s conference, the network’s entertainment president Nina Tassler dropped some information for which many have been waiting. After the media-sucking antics of Charlie Sheen and “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre, the announcement of Kutcher as Sheen’s replacement on the show was the first positive news in a long time and speculation regarding his character on the show has been rife.
Well, Ashton Kutcher will take on the role of “Walden Schmidt,” described as an internet billionaire with a broken heart. Given Kutcher’s Twitter following, and the almost $1 million the actor will receive per episode, the description doesn’t feel far from reality.
Now, if only they can get Kutcher’s wife to do an arc on the show.
