America's sweetheart Tom Cruise, he of short stature and creepy smile, wants to climb Mount Everest after he wraps shooting on Mission: Impossible III, perhaps in a bid to be closer to Xenu.
The 42-year-old actor and famous Scientologist says "I really enjoy climbing — and Everest is the ultimate challenge. Life's an adventure. And the adventure is what you make it." Cruise then gazed dreamily at his "Hang in There!!!" poster featuring a kitten in a tree, and lovingly rearranged his collection of inspirational Precious Moments figurines.
