Tom Cruise may not be lucky in love right now, but he’s certainly mastered the entertainment business: he was recently recognized as No. 1 on Forbes’ highest-paid actors list. The “Rock of Ages” star earned a whopping $75 million between May 2011 and May 2012 to nab the title.
Coming in at No. 2 and No. 3 are Leonardo DiCaprio and Adam Sandler, whose earnings over the same period were each $37 million. Then there’s Dwayne Johnson, who brought in $36 million, mostly from franchises like “Fast and Furious” and “Journey to the Center of the Earth.”
Ben Stiller rounded out the top five entertainers on Forbes’ highest-paid actors list. The comedian earned $33 million over the last year. Are you surprised by any of the names bringing in the big bucks in Hollywood?
