Actress Tilda Swinton will be lending a hand to Chanel by being the face of the fashion house’s Metiers d’Art Paris-Edimbourg collection. Swinton will be featured in pre-Fall ad campaigns for the new Scottish-inspired collection.
“Tilda perfectly embodies the Paris-Edimbourg collection,” Lagarfeld said. “She is of course Scottish, but more than that, she is a modern woman, a timeless icon of elegance.”
This won’t be the first time Swinton has been featured in a fashion campaign. She has previously helped promote Pringle, a Scottish knitwear brand, for several seasons.
Swinton’s ad campaign for Chanel will be released in full in May and is expected to begin appearing in magazines in June. Chanel is debuting their Fall collection during Paris Fashion Week on March 5.
