We’ve learned a lot of things by watching Jessica Simpson’s new “These Boots Were Made For Walkin’” video. We’ve learned that Jessica washing a car in a bikini is infinitely hotter than Paris Hilton doing the same. We’ve learned that if you change the lyrics to a classic song and have a confederate flag in your video, no one will really care as long as you’re wearing very, very little. We’ve learned to laugh. We’ve learned to cry. We’ve learned to love again. We’ve learned that Jessica has pretty much taken that “good Christian virgin” image, wiped her ass with it, gave it the finger, then flushed it down the toilet. And most of all, we’ve learned that if you’re a redheaded country legend of a certain age and you’ve been audited by the IRS, you’ll pretty much do anything for a buck.
