We know you're all still heartbroken over the Brad and Jen split, but unfortunately we have more super-couple breakup news to report: The Olsen Twins are separating.
Apparently Mary-Kate and Ashley's New York City apartment was just too cramped for the wee-sized pair, so Mary-Kate is moving on up to a loft of her very own. A source told Star magazine, "Mary-Kate and Ashley want to do the independent thing and live on their own. They're twins, and I think they just want to find their own identities. They don't want to be identified as the same person." You mean people can't tell the difference between the one who dresses like a hobo and drinks too much Starbucks and has an eating disorder and the one who dresses like a hobo and drinks too much Starbucks and reportedly trashes hotel rooms? You know, Ashley is the one who looks like a duck and has blonde hair, while Mary-Kate is the one who looks like a duck and has brown hair. Do we have that all cleared up? Good.
Luckily this split doesn't look to be permanent and we'll soon be able to return to confusing the tiny little acting and studying dynamos. Construction on their $7.3 million dollar apartment in the West Village's Morton Square should be complete later this year, and both twins are expected to take up residency. Don't expect a ginormous luxury apartment to fix that other breakup, though. That'll take at least Marlon Brando's private island.
