The Rolling Stones will be embarking on a nine-date North American tour before heading to Europe for shows in the UK.
The Stones will be heading to Los Angeles, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, Anaheim, Toronto, Chicago and Philadelphia, beginning in May. The tour will begin in LA on a to-be-announced date, and will continue until June 18 when they play in Philadelphia.
The band will be headlining this year’s Glastonbury Festival in the UK, which takes place on the last weekend in June. The show will be followed by a huge concert in London’s Hyde Park on July 6, their first show at the venue in 44 years. The band last played at Hyde Park in 1969, just two days after the death of their guitarist Brian Jones.
Tickets for the Oakland, San Jose, Toronto and Chicago concerts will go on sale on April 8.
