Queen Latifah has landed some pretty big names to make appearances during the first season of her new daytime talk show “The Queen Latifah Show.” John Travolta, Sharon Stone, Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Foxx are all scheduled to appear on the show. Executive producer Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith will also be appearing on the show.
“I cannot think of a more talented and fun group of people to share the stage with in celebration of the launch of my new show,” Latifah said. “I am honored to have the support of so many long-time friends and colleagues as I begin this journey, and I look forward to sharing this experience with all of them and with the many new friends I will make along the way.”
The show is also said to feature popular musical guests, surprise performances, and stories from local heroes who have changed lives in their communities.
Latifah previously revealed that her friend Jay Z would be making an appearance on her show.
“He’s going to come on,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve known Jay Z 20 years. I’ve watched his evolution and he’s watched mine. We’re all proud of each other.”
“The Queen Latifah Show” premieres on September 16 on CBS.
