Seventeen of Vogue’s international editors have gathered for Fashion’s Night Out event in Japan to show their support for the nation and the country’s importance to the international fashion market. The attendance of this collection of key influencers was considered important to Vogue’s publishing company, Conde Nast, after the country’s tsunami and earthquake riddled year. Fashion’s Night Out events have taken place around the globe, keeping stores open late to celebrate fashion and encourage buyers since the wake of the global financial crisis first took effect in 2009.
