By now, you know what's going on... "Star Trek Into Darkness" is set to launch itself into "Iron Man's" jet stream and is likely to deliver a billion dollar pay day to those big studio folk who've put together a Trek with stars from across the planet to appeal to all-comers.
Well, last week we posted the big gallery of images from the world premiere in London, this week it's the West Coast's turn, rocketing the new Star Trek adventure into orbit from Los Angeles.

Filly Brown opens this week – starring Lou Diamond Phillips and Edward James Olmos on screen together for the first time since Stand and Deliver, the film also introduces Gina Rodriguez as all sorts of awesome and Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera in her only big-screen performance before she was killed, tragically, in a plane crash, back in March.

Chris Pine will be receiving a major award at the upcoming CinemaCon 2013. The National Association of Theatre Owners will be awarding Pine with the Male Star of the Year Award.
“Star Trek” stars Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana will be hosting the Academy’s Scientific and Technical Awards. The awards ceremony honours achievements in technology that help improve the movie industry. IMAX and Avid are previous winners.
