Ultimate Photo Gallery of the London Film Festival (Clooney! Keibler! Madonna! Belafonte! Freida Pinto! Evan Rachel Wood!)

The stars turned out in force last week for the 55th BFI London Film Festival currently taking place through October 27 in and around the Old Dart across the pond. While some huge films and mega-wattage celebs are still to walk the red carpet, the attendance thus far has been a little blinding.

George Clooney walked “The Ides of March” red carpet supported by new girlfriend Stacy Keibler, Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman and Evan Rachel Wood; he then walked the carpet again with Shailene Woodley for “The Descendants.” Madonna was supported by her actors and fashion designer legend Valentino for her directorial effort on “W.E.” – support she definitely needed after reportedly bearing the brunt of a booing crowd. The ever gorgeous Freida Pinto lit up the room for Michael Winterbottom’s film “Trishna,” and young Olsen sister Elizabeth Olsen continues to shine on the carpet for “Martha Marcy May Marlene.” Naked Chef Jamie Oliver came out to see “Wild Bill” and Harry Belafonte was also in attendance, supporting the new documentary about his legacy.

PHOTO GALLERY: Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley, Viggo Mortensen, Guy Pearce: Venice Film Fest Red Carpet Round-Up (Day 3)

The kick-ass photo galleries from the oldest film festival in the world continue. From Day 3 of the 68th Venice Film Festival Kate Winslet continued her red carpet rampage, while Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley and Vincent Cassel (and director David Cronenberg – “Eastern Promises,” “A History of Violence”) kicked off their support of “A Dangerous Method” – a film which deals (fictionally) with the relationship between Carl Jung (Fassbender), Sigmund Freud (Mortensen) and a patient they both treated, Sabina Spielrein (Knightley).

Winslet took the red carpet by storm in an hourglass-silhouetted Stella McCartney dress alongside an Edie Sedgwick-inspired Evan Rachel Wood, both on the carpet for a second time in as many days in Venice, this time for HBO’s “Mildred Pierce.” Joining them were director Todd Haynes and co-star Guy Pearce (“Memento,” “The King’s Speech”). While at the press conference, Italian vixen Monica Bellucci and Louis Garrel talked up “That Summer.”
