Big Boi, one half of “Hey Ya” hip hopper Outkast, was arrested in Miami yesterday afternoon for drug possession.
Big Boi–real name Antwan Patton–was enjoying a cruise with friends when border patrol busted him as he got off the ship. Ecstasy pills, MDMA powder, and Viagra (for which no one in the party had a prescription) were found in a suitcase.
Big Boi was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $16,000 bond yesterday afternoon.
