Neil Patrick Harris & Dita Von Teese Wow at LA’s Gay & Lesbian Center Gala (Photo Gallery)

The LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s Anniversary Gala celebrated ’40 Years of Family’ last night by honoring the very busy Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka with the Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award, and bestowing Chaz Bono with the Board of Director’s Award from fellow star/dancer David Arquette.

Also in attendance at the Westin Bonaventure in downtown LA were Dita Von Teese and Karina Smirnoff, as well as Glee actress Jane Lynch, “Family Ties’” Meredith Baxter, “Queer as Folk’s” Peter Paige and “Roseanne’s” Sara Gilbert.

Celebs.com Official Trailer: The Muppets! (Amy Adams, Jason Segel, Jack Black)

Coming out for Thanksgiving 2011, “The Muppets” stars the usual gang of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggie, The Swedish Chef, Animal and Fozzie Bear, but also the talents of Amy Adams, Jason Segel, Jack Black, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Silverman and Oscar-winning actor Chris Cooper.

Despite teasers aplenty for the film, Disney has just released the latest trailer for the film, based on the premise that The Muppets are no longer famous and have to win back or build their audience using the tried and true methods used on past generations. While we would love the Muppets to make a comeback, we’re curious to hear what today’s kids think of these iconic characters.
