Everyone was stoked to see what, exactly, Lady Gaga would wear to the MTV VMAs this year. How could she outdo the giant egg, the Kermit the frog frock, or the meat dress?
With Jo Calderone, of course. Jo is Gaga’s male alter-ego, and as Jo, she sang “You and I” and introduced a tribute to Britney Spears that veered into “blue” territory.
With greased-up hair, stubble, and a suit, Gaga-as-Jo claimed, “I am from New Jersey. My family is from Palermo, Sicily and I am not a singer or a model or an actor or anything. I am just a guy.”
And she seems to have taken the guy thing to its logical conclusion, sporting Armani men’s underwear, and something extra underneath–a VMA insider confirms that Gaga was wearing a fake… appendage.
From meat dress… to phony baloney!
It appeared as though Canadian wunderkind Justin Bieber brought his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, to the MTV VMAs last night. And he did, but he also brought another date: his Johnson. And by Johnson, we mean his snake. And by snake, we mean his literal snake.
JB showed up at the awards show holding his new baby boa constrictor, and Entertainment Weekly interviewed him on the red carpet:
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: What your snake’s name?
JUSTIN BIEBER: Johnson.
EW: Johnson! You dirty boy!
Justin: I know. [laughs]
EW: Dude, your Johnson is small.
[Laughs and shakes his head.]
EW:What is he?
Justin: It’s a boa constrictor. It’ll get like four feet. It’s gonna get big.
EW:Has he peed on you yet?
Justin: No. I hope not!!
Justin won Best Male Video, and when he accepted his award, he thanked God and Jesus. But when it comes to pets, JB comes up with some very non-Biblical names.
Beyoncé showed off her beautiful baby bump at MTV’s Video Music Awards tonight, revealing at the show that she and hubby/rapper/mogul Jay-Z are expecting their first child!
According to MTV, after Beyoncé’s big on-stage reveal, which came at the end of performing “Love on Top,” (a performance which began with the singer declaring, “I want you to feel the love inside of me!”), Jay-Z, Kanye West, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams descended to the dressing room to whoop it up with the mom-to-be. …Read More
