Would you let your significant other name your new baby after their ex?

Most of us would probably say “absolutely not”, but Orlando Bloom is the exception. His supermodel wife, dimple-cheeked Miranda Kerr, gave birth to their son Flynn Christoper Blanchard Bloom on January 6, and Miranda revealed to the Daily Telegraph in her native Australia that the tot’s middle name came from her late boyfriend, Christopher Middlebrook, who tragically died in a car accident.

“Chris and I had been dating for two years,” Kerr said. “After he died, I wrote him a letter that said I hoped to name my first child after him in some way.

“I told Orlando, and he was the one who said he’d be happy to do that. Orlando’s a good guy.”

If you were lucky enough to be married to Miranda Kerr, I’m sure you’d let her name your baby anything she wanted to, too!
