Bold shades of yellow and fiery reds definitely dominated the red carpet this week. From the understated to the extravagant, find out what we love about each one of these looks. Here’s a peek at Celebs.com’s top 5 best-dressed celebs of the week.
5. Jenna Dewan
Sporting a simple but chic red, embellished Notte by Marchesa dress with a coordinating clutch and Baccarat ring, actress Jenna Dewan looks undeniably elegant at the South by Southwest premiere of her husband Channing Tatum’s latest film, 21 Jump Street. She completes her look with nude Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps and wears her hair down and straight.
4. Michelle Williams
Actress Michelle Williams proves that less really is more at the Tokyo premiere of her film My Week with Marilyn earlier this week. The star wears an angelic white Alexander McQueen gown accessorized with a delicate diamond necklace by Forevermark jewelry and that’s all. She keeps her hair and makeup simple as well.
3. Elizabeth Banks
Donningan eye-popping yellow, sequin, open back dress by Bill Blass, actress Elizabeth Banks is all smiles as she poses on the red carpet at the London premiere of her latest film The Hunger Games on Wednesday. She carries a Judith Leiber clutch and finishes off her ensemble with Irene Neuwirth earrings and a Diamond in the Rough ring.
2. Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana takes a walk on the wild side in this red hot, lacy little number by designer Alexis Mabille at The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo’s 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon on Wednesday. She accessorizes with Lizzy Couture earrings, rings by Dalla Nonna and Melinda Maria and, of course, a crazy cool clutch and bronze shoes by Jimmy Choo.
1. Nicole Richie
Making a statement in a bright yellow, belted halter dress by Julien Macdonald with silver Casadei pumps, Nicole Richie attends the celebration for her new show Fashion Star held at Macy’s Herald Square in NYC on Tuesday. She accents her bold look with House of Harlow Jewelry and a gold clutch by Jimmy Choo.
The Hollywood Reporter 2012 Style Issue focuses on the 25 most powerful celebrity stylists; accordingly, the mag picked four distinct covers of celebrity stylists on the list and one of their famous clients. These covers feature Charlize Theron and Lesley Fremar, Emma Stone and Petra Flannery, Jessica Chastain and Elizabeth Stewart, and Katie Holmes and Jeanne Yang.
Notably absent from the top 25 celebrity stylists is Rachel Zoe, who has parlayed her stylist fame into a mini empire that comprises fashion lines and a reality show. To make up for the snub, she got an editorial of her own in the issue.
See the rest of the celebrity stylists featured in the Hollywood Reporter Style issue here, and check out the four covers in the gallery below.
