Black was by far the color of choice on the red carpet this week, while glitzy, glamorous embellishments also had their moment. For more, take a peek at Celebs.com’s top 5 best-dressed celebs of the week.

5. Kerry Washington

In NYC to promote her latest film Django Unchained, actress Kerry Washington wowed in a chic A.L.C little black leather dress styled with nude Christian Louboutin pointy-toe pumps. She topped off her ensemble with a necklace and earrings by House of Lavande and a bracelet, rings and necklaces by Sydney Evan.

4. Jordin Sparks

Dressed in a beautiful black Nicole Miller gown with metallic embellishments, singer/actress Jordin Sparks shined on the purple carpet at the VH1 Divas event. She sported Sam Edelman heels, Sheila Fajl jewels and pulled her hair back into an elegant updo. We’re obsessed!

3. Rihanna

Rihanna definitely shined bright on the season finale of The Voice last week! The singer, who was there to perform her hit single “Diamonds,” donned a glitzy Swarovski crystal embellished jumpsuit paired with bronze sandals, a statement crystal necklace, crystal belt and a bracelet—all by Lanvin, of course. A pretty pixie cut and flawless makeup completed her look.

Looking royally gorgeous in a wool forest green Alexander McQueen dress with bell sleeves, Kate Middleton attended the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards in London last Sunday. She accessorized with black Jimmy Choo pumps, an Asprey pendant necklace and diamond earrings by Kiki McDonough. Stunning, to say the least.

Singer Ciara made an appearance at the VH1 Divas concert in LA last week wearing a dazzling black gown by Pamella Roland that was covered in sequins. Smokey eyes, a nude lip color and soft, sultry waves added the finishing touches.

Model Miranda Kerr looked like an angel in a white asymmetrical Willow dress with a brown Miu Miu belt and sky-high nude platform Lanvin pumps at the David Jones AMEX Press Conference in Sydney, Australia on Thursday. Cherry red lips and soft, subtle waves added the finishing touches.

4. Taylor Swift

Country cutie Taylor Swift was red hot in a flirty floral print dress with matching bow heels and a crimson colored pout at a special live taping for the MTV premiere of her newest music video “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” in NYC on Thursday. Considering the fact that her upcoming album is entitled “Red,” this outfit makes perfect promotional sense!

3. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

At the launch of her new Marks & Spencer lingerie line Rosie for Autograph, Victoria’s Secret model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wowed in a stunning black peplum dress with a front leather panel. She paired it with a chic burgundy belt, gorgeous flowing waves, cute cap-toe heels and barely-there makeup.

2. Naomi Watts

Naomi Watts always looks fabulous, but we particularly loved the actress’ pretty peach jumpsuit with a white blazer getup at the Venice Film Festival’s Opening Ceremony Dinner in Italy on Wednesday. Chopard jewels, a bright red pout and a tiny Lanvin clutch completed her fashion forward look.

Kate Hudson without a doubt blew away the competition at the premiere of her latest film The Reluctant Fundamentalist during the Venice Film Festival in Italy on Wednesday. With all the fabulous fashion we saw at the Oscars last Sunday, it’s no surprise that this week’s best-dressed list is comprised mainly of attendees. From actress Emma Stone to the always-stylish Rooney Mara, here are Celebs.com’s top 5 best-dressed celebs of the week.

5. Selena Gomez

At the 5th Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party on Sunday, Justin Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez shows off her fun side in a glam Ani Lee bustier mini dress paired with nude pumps. The singer/actress styles her hair in loose waves and sports a bright red lipstick.

4. Zoe Saldana

Looking absolutely flawless in floral at the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, actress Zoe Saldana stands out in a bombshell Balmain mini dress paired with nude Brian Atwood pumps and a Lanvin bag. The star wears her hair down in tousled waves and rocks a dramatic cat eye with pink lips.
