Nicole Richie inspires fabulous beauty ideas in the latest issue of Glamour magazine. The “Fashion Star” judge poses poolside rocking serious makeup statements and vixen hairstyles.
The reality star-turned-designer wore fashion from House of Harlow 1960, Winter Kate, Acne and Pamela Love in her pictorial. She even shared a few beauty tips; for example, she uses a flat iron to create her signature messy waves. “Curling irons make it a little bit too done,” she explained.

Country singer Carrie Underwood goes back to her roots in a Southern photo shoot with Glamour magazine. The “American Idol” alum opens up to the magazine about her new album Blown Away and what it’s like to live out her relationship in the public eye.
“A plus is, [husband Mike Fisher] knew what to expect,” she explained. “In Canada he was a big celebrity, so he knows what it’s like living under a microscope. And he travels a lot, which is good for both of us. We’re both independent people, so we can’t have somebody around 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The drawback is that we can go weeks without seeing each other. But he’s the only guy I’ve never had to worry about. Any guy I’ve ever dated, there would always be that doubt: ‘He didn’t answer his phone. What’s he doing? It’s late.’ I’m not the crazy-girlfriend type, but there was a little voice in the back of my head. I don’t have to worry about Mike. I don’t think twice. He’s going out? I don’t care; it doesn’t bother me. I don’t bat an eye.”

Former reality star and designer Lauren Conrad bares it all, literally and figuratively, in the May 2012 issue of Glamour. In the accompanying interview, the reality star-turned-author discussed her own issues with her body in the media.
“On the vacation to Cabo, I wore a bathing suit on the beach for the first time in years. Usually I’m just petrified,” she admitted. “A couple of years ago someone zoomed in on my cellulite and it was so mean. I took it really personally. I haven’t worn a bathing suit in L.A. in years because of that.”
As for her reality television life, Conrad clarifies why her cast members on “The Hills” were always on their phones: “During shooting, the producers would send us quick text messages telling us what to talk about. They couldn’t walk through the shot, so they’d just text me, like, ‘Say something quick about this story line.’ That’s why we were always checking our phones!”

For starters, Seyfried assures us that she won’t go through a man-crazy phase in her 20s, saying, “No! I’m terrified of being promiscuous. I don’t like the feeling you get when it’s not something that you truly want to do, and I hate the emotional abuse you give yourself afterward. It’s just uncomfortable when you’re with somebody and you’re like, ‘I don’t know if I’m even comfortable with this. Why did I? Eww!’ I think dating can come without sex.”
Seyfried also declared that the “era of a diva actress is coming to an end,” citing the kindness of her contemporaries like Watson and Carey Mulligan. Check out more photos of Amanda Seyfried by Ellen von Unwerth for Glamour below.
