Ryan Phillippe is a father once again! Or is he?

Back in March, gossips broke the news that the Lincoln Lawyer actor’s ex-girlfriend, model Alexis Knapp, was expecting and that the baby was Ryan’s. Knapp told pals that Ryan was the father, and a source claimed: “Ryan is aware of the situation [and is] totally prepared to take responsibility should the child be his.”

On July 1st, Alexis gave birth to a baby girl named Kai, and sources report that Ryan was right there in the delivery room! One wag says:

“Ryan took Alexis to her last doctor’s appointments and was there in the hospital when she gave birth. He’s waiting for the DNA test to see of he’s the father, but he’s acting like he is.”

If baby Kai is indeed a Phillippe, she’ll join siblings Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, whose mom is Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon.
