Susan Sarandon is a huge fan of table tennis — so much so that she’s donated $75,000 to make sure the sport gets into New York City public schools. Sarandon co-owns SPIN, a Manhattan table tennis club, and is a huge proponent of its stress-relieving qualities.
The New York City Department of Education told MSN that the funds would go toward coaching and equipment. This year alone, 27 middle schools and high schools have added table tennis to their offerings.
