Celebs.com correspondent Simone Boyce caught up with ‘Year One’ co-stars Michael Cera and Juno Temple about re-teaming for Sebastian Silva’s unsettling psycho-thriller ‘Magic Magic.’
Right off the heels of a Telemundo interview in Spanish, Michael Cera tells us how he picked up the language in just three short months with the help of a “beautiful Colombian.” But of course, we couldn’t get through an interview with the “Arrested Development” star without checking in on our dear friend George Michael Bluth! At 24 years old, George Michael will be all grown up when Netflix airs a resurrected “Arrested Development” later this year. Cera dishes on his relationship with on-screen dad Jason Bateman, and jokingly claims Bateman is “a major asshole in real life.”
Juno Temple, Michael Cera’s fiery British ‘Magic Magic’ co-star, is in also high demand these days. Between her two other Sundance films – ‘Lovelace’ and ‘Afternoon Delight’ – Temple will play a pornstar and a prostitute in the same year. In this clip, Temple breaks down how she broke Michael Cera’s nose for a scene in ‘Magic Magic,’ and shares how the rich Chilean setting influenced her character development.
