Simon Cowell Reveals Age-Defying Health and Fitness Routine

Cantankerous “X Factor” judge Simon Cowell is infamous for his focus on health and fitness, and he recently divulged a bit of his highly structured regimen.

For starters, don’t dare accuse him of getting Botox injections like so many of his peers. “I don’t believe in all that,” he said. “Eating is the most important thing. I feel OK at the moment: I work out two or three times a week, doing my push-ups. And I drink ginger tea all day long, which is amazing.”

Cowell has said that he does 500 push-ups a day “religiously,” and does additional workouts whenever he can, followed by a session in the steam room and a relaxing bath. This gets him pumped for his workday, which is a bit unusual:

A workday starts around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. I have a weird routine. I’ll have a massage and then I’ll have four or five beers, ice-cold. Then I’ll carry on until 4 or 5 in the morning and that kind of keeps me awake.

Cowell has clearly found the secret to a lucrative daily routine: his estimated net worth is $320 million.
