Shania Twain has extended her Las Vegas run by adding new dates this fall. Twain announced another 22 dates of her Caesars Palace residency, “Shania: Still the One,” yesterday.
“I couldn’t be any happier,” Twain told The Associated Press. “It turned out so beautifully and I’m so proud of it.”
Twain debuted her show at the Colosseum back in December, after an almost decade-long hiatus from the music industry, that was fueled by a divorce and medical problems.
“I had moments when I thought I never would [tour again], and I would’ve been okay with that,” Twain revealed. “I love music and I’d never want to give up music, but did I ever want to put a production together and be on stage again?”
The country singer admits she was unsure of her how fans would react to her shows in Sin City, but she managed to sell out each of her first 24 performances. Twain goes on to say that the residency allows her to balance her career with being a mom.
Twain’s upcoming shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace begin in October and end in December. Tickets go on sale on Friday.
