Shakira shows off her post-baby body on the new cover of Self magazine. The singer had to take the judges chair on “The Voice” just two months after giving birth to her son Milan, and Shakira wanted to be back in shape for her new job.
“I did Zumba throughout my pregnancy,” Shakira said. “That helped me not gain too much weight.” She continued doing Zumba after having the baby and even spent a week training with creator of the workout, Beto Perez.
Even Shakira admits to having imperfections that can bother her, but she chooses to focus on herself and a whole package.
“I don’t obsess over my flaws, because I see my body as a whole,” she said. “Besides, I think men appreciate confidence more than perfection.”
