Salma Hayek is the latest celebrity to become a French knight. President Nicolas Sarkozy included the “Puss in Boots” actress on his New Year’s list of Legion of Honor recipients, indicating that her grade will be Chevalier, or Knight, when the formal induction takes place later this winter.
Although the honor is distinctively French — Napoleon created it in 1802 — foreigners can receive the award. Past chevaliers include Jerry Lewis, Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood and Robert Redford, according to People.

Salma Hayek in From Dusk Till Dawn, surely one of the iconic scenes is movie history.
She was on a UK chat show recently to promote Puss in Boots and she just did not”get” the brit comedian that was on the same show. Anyway, Salma Hayek cannot do any wrong in my eyes!
