Salma Hayek has launched a new beauty line of cosmetics, with the newest addition to the family being a kid-friendly collection of nail polishes.
Hayek herself explains the reasoning behind her nail polish. “One of the reasons for adding nail lacquer to the Nuance line was my daughter, Valentina. She is obsessed with the colors. I needed to create a formula that wasn’t very toxic, so you could put it on your children. We use many vitamins and minerals to nourish the nails, while also giving them color.”
The gorgeous actress didn’t release her line without justification. Her grandmother was a cosmetologist who studied at Vichy Labs in Paris and had long shared her beauty secrets with the star. It took 10 years from conception to delivery for the actress to see her dream of her own cosmetic line reach fruition.
The beauty line previously included hair care, skin care and cosmetics. The new launch of the nail liquor collection brings the line to a new level. The polishes feature 30 stunning shades in a chip-resistant formula. The line is carried exclusively in CVS stores.
