Ryan Seacrest is adding another reality show to his production house, but this one is not with E!. The TV and radio host’s new project, “Monecito,” has just been picked up by A&E.
The show will take place in Montecito, California, following ballroom dance instructors who teach some of the world’s wealthiest women (most likely housewives in this case). The episodes will go outside of the ballroom to see the lives of both the instructors and the women they teach. What the docudrama really wants to answer is, how far will these instructors go to make more money?
Ryan Seacrest will produce the hour-long episodes along with Ryan Seacrest Productions CEO Adam Sher. Seacrest’s other production projections include “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Shah’s of Sunset,” “Married to Jonas” and the recently announced “The Wanted Life.”
Monecito has been picked up by A&E for 6 episodes.
