Rosie O’Donnell joined Nene Leakes for co-hosting duties on “Anderson Live.” The show’s regular host, Anderson Cooper, was en route overseas to cover the international incidents occurring in Gaza. O’Donnell and Leakes had far less important matters to discuss, though.
When Leakes brought up Donald Trump and the fact that his Vegas steakhouse received a deplorable C rating from health inspectors, O’Donnell quipped, “Apparently there was a dirty-dining segment, and there was very old food and rotten caviar and unrefrigerated duck. I am just saying this is what I read in the paper, but of course I am sure he will find a way to blame Obama for that.”
Ro then went on to address happier subjects, like her improving health. When an audience member asked her about her heart attack over the summer, she responded, “Feeling a lot better, thank you. I got my number yesterday, I am way up there. I don’t mean weight, I mean, like, good blood pressure, and I’ve lost, like, 12 pounds. We are going for a pound a week.”
O’Donnell then went on to speak about her dear friend of 20-plus years, Madonna. Apparently, she caught the entertainer’s show at Madison Square Garden last week. “I thought it was her best show ever, and I’ve seen almost all of them. I don’t know how that woman, at 54, is able to do that, night after night. Honestly, 54 — look at that body. Hello. There you go. She’s rocking it.”
