Charmed star and former Marilyn Manson femme Rose McGowan has signed on to play Ann-Margret in an upcoming Elvis miniseries for CBS. Somewhere in Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan is throwing a tantrum on the grand scale of a Joan Crawford or a Faye Dunaway.
Production begins on the miniseries in January. Ann-Margret was rumored to have had an affair with her friend and Viva Las Vegas costar Elvis, but we'll have to sit tight and wait to see if history repeats itself, and Rose beds down with her Elvis, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. We're not quite sure how a femmey, horseback-riding Irishman was cast in the role of Elvis Presley but hey, what do we know?
