Rachel McAdams shares juicy tidbits about her life, including her less-than-glamorous McDonald’s job, in the February 2012 issue of Glamour.
Before she got into acting, McAdams worked at a Toronto McDonald’s for three years alongside her brother and sister. “It was a great place to work,” she admitted, “but I had a little bit of an OCD thing with hand washing and just didn’t have time. They were like, ‘Hey, the drive-through’s backing up. Stop washing your hands!’ I was not a great employee; I broke the orange juice machine one day.”
Although McAdams has dated a few of her costars, she told Glamour that they all came after filming wrapped, because “you wind up actually spending a lot of time with those people promoting the movie.”
When asked about her dream costar, McAdams replied, “It’s an embarrassment of riches. I love Owen [Wilson] in ‘Midnight in Paris.’ He’s so endearing, and it was a completely different kind of relationship than the one we had in ‘Wedding Crashers.’” Check out more photos from McAdams’ shoot with Glamour below.

This is a girl to look up to! She’s not ashamed of her past, and of all the sacrifices she had to do to get where she is now!
Why should one hide her job in Mc Donalds? This makes me think she’s a smart and hard working girl, someone to admire and to get inspiration from!!
Oh how I wish I went through that drive through while she was working. Even if she rejected my flirting which would probably happen. I’d have the story of flirting with a Hollywood Star forever! I wouldn’t even order juice so no worries on breaking it!
