Desperate housewife Nicolette Sheridan was so desperate to dispel rumors that she's had scalpel-shavin' that she actually, physically, went to a plastic surgeon: "I just wanted to put an end to these
rumors," she said on "Access Hollywood". "I just wanted to prove it, so I went to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills who examined my face and said… 'I can tell you haven't (had surgery), the signs of
aging are on your face' (laughs)." So . . . she knows she's not had surgery, but she had to prove it to herself? Ohhhhkay.
Sharon Stone takes denial to a histrionic level: she's suing a plastic surgeon who told Touch Weekly and Us Weekly that she had a facelift. accusing him of harming her career by falsely telling reporters she had visited him for a facelift. The lawsuit states, "Stone has never undergone a facelift in order to improve her physical appearance. (She) prides herself not only on her acting ability and other talents, but also on her natural physical appearance." Shaz thinks that all the negative publicity (funny, we haven't heard a peep about this until now) about her surgically-enhanced grille has damaged her Hollywood rep and ability to get work in the biz. No, Sharon, you can't get work because you're box office poison. Catwoman? The Muse? Diabolique? Hello?
Nicole Kidman, she of the bizarrely immobile brow, has reportedly had cosmetic surgery on her knees. Her knees. British tabloids recently ran pics of the Cold Mountain cutie and one-time Scientologist wearing bandages around her knees, and British surgeon Dr. Apostolos Gaitanis says this suggests she has had liposuction to remove fatty deposits. Thank GOD she finally did something about those KNEES, I swear, have you seen her KNEES? Little wonder all the good roles out there have been going to younger actresses with their unlined, animated faces and fresh, nubile knees!
