Right now you might not know quite who Josh Lucas is (unless you're one of the few who clings to your copy of Sweet Home Alabama as if it were a loaf of bread and you were Jean Valjean), but soon you'll know him as that guy who admitted to drinking pee. Ol' piss drinker. Pee-pee-mouth McGee. Tinkle tongue. You get the picture.
At first this quote from Josh Lucas about the filming of Poseidon just struck us as gross.
Anytime you put a lot of grips and special-effects people in water, there's going to be urine . . . And you got comfortable to the point where you were drinking it.
Then we decided to delve into his filmography a bit and we unearthed titles such as Snowy River, Minotaur, The Weight of Water, The Deep End, Coastlines, Undertow, and Empire Falls and we realized something. This guy is perusing scripts looking for scenes that are in, under, or near water. He wants to be submerged in a pool with other actors and crew members for hours at a time, giving him the opportuinity to guzzle all the mellow yellow he can and pass it off as a sacrifice that he's made for the craft of acting. Then we noticed something else. One of his co-satrs in Poseidon is Fergie, she of the reapeated, staged golden showers. C'mon, Josh, stop blaming the grips and special-effects guys; it was really Fergie peeing all over you the whole time.
